Officers of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse will visit Ballarat and Bendigo this week.
The Royal Commission will be holding informal meetings with community groups and service providers in the region to share information about the work of the Royal Commission.
Community-based organisations play an important role in supporting their clients to engage with the Royal Commission, and making submissions in response to Issues Papers on various topics.
These initial meetings will be followed by a visit to the region by Royal Commissioners, including the Chair, next month.
Full details of that visit will be confirmed closer to the date.
