Royal Commission to hold hearing into Redress and civil litigation

The Royal Commission is holding a public hearing in Sydney commencing Wednesday 25 March 2015 at 10.00 am.

The scope and purpose of the public hearing is to:

  1. Enable invited persons and institutions to:
    1. speak to their written submissions to the Royal Commission’s Consultation Paper on Redress and Civil Litigation and/or otherwise comment on the issues raised in the Consultation Paper, and
    2. respond to questions asked by the Royal Commission.
    3. Any related matters
  2. Those invited to speak at the public hearing will not be asked to give sworn evidence.
